Watch Shriners Children's in the 136th Rose Parade!
We are thrilled to share that Shriners Children’s will proudly participate in the 136th Rose Parade on New Year’s Day. Tune in at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET to see our stunning float, adorned with 36,500 flowers. Thank you to the hundreds of volunteers, including Shriners and spouses, who spent countless hours decorating our float. The float’s theme, Hope Shines On , captures the trans-formative power of the care we provide at Shriners Children's, inspiring our patients to dream of a bright, joyful future full of endless opportunities. Our float position is #82, followed only by the Grand Finale!
Our float riders include Shriners Children’s patients Paige, Grayson, Alec and Kaleb as well as leadership from Shriners International and Shriners Children’s - Richard G. Burke, Imperial Potentate and Leslie D. Stewart, M.D., Chairman, Board of Trustees - and other guests.
Near the conclusion of the broadcast, the tradition “From Flowers to Football” will feature former International Patient Ambassador Hunter Woodhall and his wife, Tara Davis-Woodhall, joined by some very special friends celebrating the new year and the Rose Bowl kick off. We’re also excited to launch our new campaign with a commercial that will premiere during the parade broadcast.
Happy New Year
